1. The 2024 Appliance Rewards Promotion (promotion) is available between 15 July 2024 and 11 August 2024 (claims made until 25 August 2024), subject to any cancellation or extension under sections 13 and 22(b). 
  2. During the promotion, participating suppliers will publicise their promotion period (promotion period). You must purchase and install an eligible gas appliance and submit your claim within the relevant promotion period.
  3. During the promotion period, Jemena offers eligible participants a VISA digital gift card. The gift card amount and eligible gas appliances are listed at section 5. The gift card is issued by iGoDirect Group Pty Ltd (ABN 17 110 897 320) (iGo) on behalf of Jemena Gas Networks (NSW) Ltd (ABN 87 003 004 322) of Level 16, 567 Collins Street, Melbourne Victoria 3000 (Jemena/we/us).
  4. To participate, you must:
    1. be 18 years and over;
    2. reside within and be connected to the Jemena Gas Network in New South Wales; and
    3. satisfy the purchase and installation requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions.

    You can check if you reside within the Jemena Gas Networks region by contacting a gas appliance fitter listed on www.gonaturalgas.com.au/find-a-gas-specialist or refer to the Natural Gas Locator Tool on www.canigetgas.jemena.com.au
  5. To be eligible to claim the gift card, you must purchase and install any one of the following eligible gas appliances (eligible gas appliance):

  1. To claim your gift card you will need to visit www.YourLocalApplianceRewards.com.au and provide the following information:
    1. Your name
    2. Residential street address where the eligible gas appliance is installed
    3. Email address so iGo can send your gift card
    4. Phone number so we or iGo can contact you
    5.  Proof of purchase in the form of a tax invoice
    6. Proof of installation in the form of a Certificate of Compliance issued by a licensed gas fitter/plumber. We will only accept a Certificate of Compliance that is provided by NSW Fair Trading. For more information see: the NSW Fair Trading website. For hot water only.
  2. When you submit your online claim form, iGo will collect and use your personal information for the purposes of facilitating your claim and may disclose such information to us and third parties for this purpose. By submitting your claim, you consent to receiving information about this promotion from us or iGo until you opt out of such communications. You may opt out using the unsubscribe button on the communication. You may view our Privacy Policy | Jemena, and email privacyenquiries@jemena.com.au if you have any concerns or wish to access and correct the personal information we hold about you.
  3. We or iGo may contact you to request more information or copies of original documentation if they are unclear, illegible or for any other verification purpose. Errors and omissions may be accepted at our discretion.
  4. Your gift card will be sent to your nominated email address within 1 week of claim validation.
  5. When you receive your gift card, you must activate the card online by visiting www.YourLocalApplianceRewards.com.au or by calling iGo on 1800 427 608. You must activate within 3 months of receiving the card, based on the date of the email. Once activated, the gift card will be ready for use within 24 hours, and will expire 12 months from the date of activation.
  6. If you do not activate the gift card within 3 months, it will lapse. Gift cards cannot be activated after their expiry date and iGo will not issue a replacement card.
  7. You can use your gift card online or at any payment terminal accepting VISA Australia wide.
  8. We may extend or terminate the promotion at any time in our absolute discretion and will update the website www.YourLocalApplianceRewards.com.au with revised dates.
  9. All claims submitted become the property of Jemena.


  1. There is a maximum of two gift cards claimable per residential address unless otherwise determined in our absolute discretion.
  2. This promotion is not available to commercial or industrial customers.
  3. Portable heating is not an eligible gas appliance.
  4. Jemena and iGo take no responsibility for cards not received, not activated within 3 months or expired cards (see sections 10 and 11).
  5. Gift cards, or any unused portion of a gift card, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
  6. Claims will not be accepted if:
    1. submitted outside the relevant promotion period; or
    2. they do not contain all required information (see section 6).
  7. If installation occurs outside the promotion period as a direct result of a new residential gas connection being delayed by Jemena, we may nevertheless honour the claim at our sole discretion.
  8. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as anticipated due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, including technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, we may in our absolute discretion:
    1. disqualify any individual; or
    2. modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion.
  9. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the Australian Securities and Investments Act 2001 (Cth) or similar consumer protection laws in the states and territories of Australia (Non-Excludable Guarantees). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, Jemena (including its ‘related bodies corporate’ as defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability howsoever caused for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion including arising out of any:
    1. technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under our control);
    2. theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
    3. claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected;
    4. tax liability incurred by an individual; or
    5. use or redemption of the gift card.
